Viola Adams, 58. A native of New Rose, LA and a resident of Houma, LA died on 
Wednesday, March 16, 2016.

The life of Viola Adams will be celebrated on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 
Community Funeral Home 230 S. Hollywood Rd., Houma, LA 70360. She will have 
visitation from 9:30a.m. until funeral time at 10:30a.m. 

Interment will be at Morning Star Cemetery in Raceland, LA

She leaves to cherish her memories, three children, Ike Adams(Dorsie), Jeremy 
Adams(Shagera) and Rojunda Jackson. Five brothers, Ernest Pollard, Rev. Calvin 
Pollard, John Pollard of Baton Rouge, LA, Joseph Pollard of Houma, LA and 
Albert Pollard of Westwego, LA. Two sisters, Theresa Pollard Vessell and Jane 
Jefferson of Boutte, LA and two grandchildren, Jeremy James Carter and Dajah 
Renee Adams.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ike Adams, Sr., and her parents, 
Alfred(Dock) Pollard, Sr., and Elizabeth J. Pollard. Two brothers, Alfred 
Pollard, Jr., and James Pollard, Sr.

She was a Baptist and a member of Ministry of New Beginning.

Community Funeral Home 230 S. Hollywood Rd., Houma, LA 70360 is in charge of 
arrangements.
