Jeannette Louise Babin, 95, died Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 02:18 AM. She was 
a native of Terrebonne Parish, LA and resident of Chauvin, LA.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 11:00 AM until funeral 
time at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM. 

Burial will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Chauvin.

She is survived by her daughters, Loretta Adams and husband, Donald, and Sandra 
Breaux and husband, Owen Jr.; grandchildren, Bryan (Amanda) Adams, Debbie 
(Benny) Blanchard, Lisa (Irby) Bergeron, Keith (Sue) Adams, Annette (Daniel) 
Fonseca, Paul (Shannon) Breaux, Susan Breaux, James Breaux, Ryan (Tricia) 
Roberts, and Rebecca (Dave Domangue) Roberts; great-grandchildren, Brandon 
Blanchard, Brad (Shelly) Bergeron, Courtney (Michael) Authement, Justine 
(Shaun) Heath, Holli (C.J.) Cunningham, Nikki (Johnny) Matherne, Chad (Celeste) 
Adams, Cassie (Morrie Dupre) Adams, Daniel (Renee') Fonseca, Jeremy Fonseca, 
Collin, Kayli and Colton Breaux, Tyler and Tanner Roberts; Great-great-
grandchildren, Taylor, Karly and Emily Cunningham, Connor, Kaylee and Kynzie 
Authement, Abigail and Kyle Bergeron, Bailey and Jye Matherne, Xavier and Gage 
Heath, Adeline Adams, Karsen Dupre, Jace and Alyssa Fonseca; daughter-in-law, 
Sandra Roberts Machen; very special neighbors, Lynn and Deborah LeBlanc, and 
Angela.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Angelo Roberts Babin; 
son, Angelo Roberts, Jr.; granddaughter, Jill Roberts; parents, James Eugene 
and Wisteria Marie Pitre Carlos; sister, Rosalie LeBoeuf.

She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  She was a member of the 
St. Joseph Ladies Altar Society. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and spending 
time with her family. Everyone she met became a friend. She will be greatly 
missed by all who knew her.
