She was a native of Bourg, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 30, 2016 from 9:00 AM until Service time at St. Louis Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM at St. Louis Catholic Church. Burial: Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. She is survived by her, sons, Lonny James Babin and wife Jennifer Bourg Babin and Jason Saul Babin and daughter-in-law Karen Boudloche Babin; daughter, Ena Babin Carreras and husband Fred Michael Carreras Jr.; grandchildren, Joseph Anthony Babin,III, Bonnie Babin Rodriguez, Cheryl Babin Duplantis, David Lonny Babin, Jim Anthony Babin, Brian James Babin and Aaron Michael Carreras; great- grandchildren: Jonathan Adam Babin, Keith Anthony Alario, Alisha Duplantis, Sebastian Duplantis, Ethan Babin, Elise Babin, Anthony Babin, Andrew Babin, Olivia Babin ,Avery and Colton Carreras; great-great-grandchildren, Bentile and Faythlyn Britt. She was preceded in death by her, husband, Joseph Anthony Babin, Sr.; son, Joseph Anthony Babin, Jr.; daughter, Valerie Agnes Babin; parents, Henri Camille Detiveaux and Alice Rogers Detiveaux; step-parents, Joseph Thibodeaux and Marie Vito Thibodeaux; brothers, Collins, John and James Detiveaux; sisters, Cornelia D. Garibotte, Cecilia D. Cristome and Ann Detiveaux; and step sisters, Agnes Thibodeaux and Mable T. Ledet. Marceline was a kind and giving person who had a loving heart. Spending time with her family and friends was the joy of her life. She especially loved working in her flower beds throughout her yard. She will be sadly missed by her famly and friends who knew her and she will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and loving heart. She was a graduate of the South Louisiana Trade School on July 27,1973, as a Louisiana Practical Nurse. Working many years at Terrebonne General Hospital and finishing her career at Evangeline Nursing Home which is currently known as the Oaks. The family would like to thank everyone for their support shown through this most difficult time. ======================
