Shirley Z. Borne, 83, a native and resident of Thibodaux, passed away on Sunday 
March 6, 2016.

Visitation is to be held on Wednesday March 9 from 8am till Funeral Time at St. 
Genevieve Church in Thibodaux, La. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 
at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, 

with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux, La.

She is survived by her sons, Joseph Borne Jr and wife, Milly, Gerard Borne and 
wife, Lou, John Borne and wife, Liz, Leo Borne and wife, Sherry and Anthony 
Borne; daughters, Catherine Pontif and companion, Glenn Baye, and Monica 
Rahaley and husband, Scott; brother, Neil Zeringue Jr.; 15 grandchildren; and 
19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Borne Sr.; parents, Neil 
Zeringue Sr. and Virginia B. Zeringue Legendre; and sister, Audrey Zeringue.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and 
friend. She proudly retired from K&B Drug Story after 25 years of service.
