Upon retiring from JC Penny last year, with many years in sales and managerial services, Val continued her entrepreneurial trade in making personalized items. She is survived by four sisters, Sheryl Johnson Christophe, Marjorie Ann Caesar, JoAnna Caesar, Danielle Caesar-Myer; three brothers, Mark (Elaine) Caesar, Brandon (Lorena) Caesar, Clyde (Gloria); three nieces, Jada (James) Farmer, Megan (Wayne) Mitchell, Zarinah Myer; four nephews, Derrick (Sara), Anthony Caesar, Darius "Sam" Caesar, Zacharias Myer; two aunts, Bertha Toussaint, Laura Brown; four uncles, Earl Ferry, Freddie Kemp, Jr., Samuel Kemp, and Levert Kemp. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Marjorie Bouie Caesar, maternal grandparents Ethel Ferdinand and Freddie Kemp, Sr.; paternal grandparents, John Caesar, Sr. and Charlotte Brown; aunt, Joyce Azard; uncle, Cecil Seaberry. Visitation will be at Greater Antioch Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, LA on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 8 am until the service begins at 11 am. Burial will follow at Southern Memorial Gardens. Repass immediately following the burial at Greater Antioch Baptist Church fellowship hall. Desselle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ======================
