Elton Adam"Greaux" Dean, Sr., 76, a native of Dulac and a resident of Houma, 
passed away on March 22, 2016.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 25, 2016 from 5pm to 8:30pm and private 
time with children from 8:30pm to 9pm, and Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 12pm 
to 2pm at Samart Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 2pm at Samart Funeral 
Home.

He is survived by
Wife- Patricia "Patty" Poche Lovergne Dean
Children- Charlene Brown and husband Jimmy, Charlotte Whitby(Deceased), Cynthia 
Miller and husband Mark, Eva Blake and husband Harley, Elton Adam Dean, Jr. and 
wife DeAnna, Clayton Dean and wife Sheryl, and Carlton Dean
Grandchildren- 20
Great Grandchildren- 24
Step Children- Lloyd Lovergne, Sr. and Robert Lovergne, Jr.
Brothers- Morris Dean, Oris Dean, and Cyrus Dean
Sisters- Eva Underwood, Alice Stringer, Mary Ann Dean, Gloria Pellegrin

He was preceded in death by
1st Wife- Mary Alice Pierre Dean
Parents- Ivy John Dean and Elma Trosclair Dean
Daughter- Charlotte Whitby
Grandchild- Brooklyn Vick
Brother- Milton Dean
Sister- Doris Parfait

Elton worked as a driller in the oil field for over 20 years. He enjoyed 
dancing, playing Pokeno and Bingo, and also cooking, but he especially loved 
spending time with his family.

His final resting place will be in Casper, Wyoming.

Samart is in charge of arrangements.
