Dolores Ann Pourciau Joffrion, 81, resident of Thibodaux, LA, passed away 
peacefully on Friday, March 11, at her residence surrounded by her family. 
Dolores was born on March 15, 1934, in Lakeland, LA.

Visitation will be held in her honor on Tuesday, March 15, at St. John the 
Evangelist Church, Thibodaux, LA, from 8:00 am until the Mass of Christian 
Burial at 11:00 am. 

Entombment will follow in St. John the Evangelist Church Cemetery.

She married her childhood sweetheart, Rene, whom she has shared 60 years of 
marriage and she is survived by her three sons: Brent "Mike" and wife Janie, 
Rene III "Buddy" and wife Susan, and Todd and wife Janeen; by three 
grandchildren, Jennifer Joffrion Barthelemy and husband Keith, Michael 
Joffrion, and Michelle Joffrion Garcia and husband Steven; by four great 
grandchildren, Madelyn Barthelemy, Holden Barthelemy, Charlie Garcia and Mason 
Garcia; by a sister Betty "Tootsie" Joyce Pourciau Bellelo and husband Vincent; 
by sisters-in-law Janice Joffrion Duchaney and husband Frank, LenaMae Comeaux 
Pourciau, Bertha Kline Pourciau; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Darryl Joffrion; her parents Jacob and 
Maria Pourciau; siblings Jacob Pourciau Jr., Doris Pourciau Kline, Dorothy 
Pourciau Comeaux, and James "Bull" Pourciau.

Dolores enjoyed family gatherings, playing cards and especially her 
grandchildren and great grandchildren.
