David Paul Marcel, 56, a native and resident of Houma, passed away on March 8, 
2016.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 10, 2016, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Samart 
Funeral Home of Houma, LLC, Houma, Louisiana.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2016, 6pm at Samart 
Funeral Home of Houma

He is survived by Children, Logan David Marcel and wife Ashley, Lauren Mary 
Marcel and spouse Jordan Cheramie, Liza Ann Marcel and spouse Trent Picou, Lane 
Michael Marcel and fiancee Kayla Moore, Haley Angelique Marcel and companion 
Justin Saltzman:
Step-children, Galen J. Moran and wife Brooke, Levon Moran and wife Cammie; 
brothers, Gary John Marcel, Stephen Joseph LeBlanc, Allen "Cotton" Lirette; 
sisters, Judy Marcel, Tammy Folmar, Dodi Ann LeBlanc
Grandchildren - Logan, Jr., Jaden', Myra, Aliza, Kamden, Maximus, Aubryn, 
Allie, Brilynn, Aidian, Elle, Caleb, Jalyn

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Joseph Marcel, Sr. and Mary 
Louise LeBlanc Marcel: brother, Eugene "Tookie" Joseph Marcel, Jr: sister, 
Cathrine "Tede" Marie Marcel, Evelyn "Moose" Ann Lirette and his grandparents.

He was a member of Bayou Blue Assembly of God. He loved his children and 
grandchildren. He considered his close friends his family. He loved to hunt, 
fish and was the Biggest LSU fan.

If you are reading this "I ain't got nothing but love for ya. I love you and 
God is Good all the time."
