Earl "J." Martin, Sr., a retired crane operator at J. Ray McDermott, departed 
this life on Monday, Mar. 14, 2016 at Thibodaux Health Care. 
He was 76, a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA. 

Visiting at Moses Baptist Church on Saturday March 26, 2016 from 8:00am to 
Religious Services at 10:00am. Burial in the church cemetery. Survived by his 
wife, Essie S. Martin; 1st wife, Jenny D. Martin; 3 sons, Earl J. Martin, 
Jr.(Paulette), Terry Martin (Daibi) ,Warren Williams; 2 daughters, Vera Mae 
Martin and Juanita Martin-Young; 4 sisters, Mary Johnson, Margaret Riley, 
Thelma Johnson and Beverly Vallian; 1 brother, Larry Martin; 16 grandchildren; 
8 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews; 1 aunt, other relatives and 
friends. 

Preceded in death by his parents, Lucien and Rose Martin; 2 brothers, Lucien 
and Lloyd Martin; 2 sisters, Barbara and Brenda Martin.
