She was a native of Chauvin, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 9:30am to service time at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 11:00am at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her, daughters, Phyllis Portier, Yvonne P. Guidry and husband Lawrence J. Guidry Sr., Mable P. Croker, and Kathey Lirette and husband Percy Gene Lirette, son-in-law; John L. Derrick Jr., sixteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and fourteen great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her, husband; Alvin J. Portier Sr., parents; Cleveland and Georgeanna Lirette Bergeron, sons; Alvin J. Jr. and Randy Portier, daughters; Bessie M. Portier, Lillian Portier Charpentier, and Margaret P. Derrick, grandchildren; Christina Charpentier, Charles J. LeBlanc Jr., and Kenton P. Boudreaux Jr., son-in-law; Jimmy J. Croker Jr., brothers; Percy Bergeron Sr., Eugene Bergeron, Tilman Bergeron, and Travis Bergeron. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. She was an employee of Terrebonne General Hospital for fifteen years. Ora believed in her Lord Jesus Christ. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. ======================
