Abdul Raoof, a retired employee of Tanner Construction Company, departed this 
life on Wednesday March 2, 2016 at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. 
He was 66 and a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA. 

Visiting Williams and Southall Funeral Home, Thibodaux, LA on Saturday March 
12, 2016 at 9:00am to Religious Services at 11:00 am. 

Burial in Moses Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Survived by his wife, Shaheedah Raoof; 3 daughters, Consandra Smith (Rev. 
Howard), Toosdhi Raoof and Aneesah Raoof; 1 son, Alvin Carter, Sr.; 2 brothers, 
Daniel and Michael Woods; 7 sisters, Marie Muhnier, Maryan Ablullah, Dianne 
Stevenson, Jessica Woods, Tina Woods and Mary Gail Woods; 9 grandchildren; 6 
great grandchildren; 1 uncle, Louis Woods; also a host of nieces, nephews, 
other relatives and friends. 

Preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Woods and Nejaheeba Muhammad; 2 
brothers, Jessie, Jr. and Anthony Woods.
