Gibbens Richard Robichaux, 85, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La departed 
this life on Thursday, March 10, 2016.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 13 at Landry’s 
Funeral Home in Thibodaux, La. Visitation will resume on Monday, March 14 from 
7:30 a.m. until Funeral Time at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux, La.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Monday March 14 at the 
St. Joseph Co-Cathedral. 

Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, THibodaux.

Mr. Robichaux is survived by his wife, Joann Robichaux; daughter, Vicky 
Robichaux Sessions and husband, Mark; sons, Gibbs Robichaux and wife, Janet, 
Tim Robichaux and wife, Michele, and Chris Robichaux; grandchildren, Michael 
Robichaux and wife, Betsy, Travis Sessions and wife, April, John Sessions, 
Kristen Robichaux and husband, Janssen, Kimberly Robichaux and husband, Jay, 
Brennon Sessions, Ben Robichaux and wife, Alex, and Kyle Robichaux; and great-
grandchildren, Jackson Robichaux and Dylan Robichaux.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Sara Day Robichaux; and 
brother, Alfred Robichaux Jr.

Mr. Robichaux proudly served as the organist for St. Joseph Co-Cathedral for 50 
years.
