Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2016/f1604.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Vivian Marie Foret Billiot, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a lifelong resident of Dulac, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family and friends on April 29, 2016 at 1:57 AM at the age of 100. Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 9 PM on Sunday at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma and from 9 AM until service time on Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Dulac. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church, with burial to follow in Holy Family Catholic Church cemetery in Dulac. She is survived by her daughters, May Gregoire and husband, Paul, Bessie Billiot, and Shirley Duthu; sons, Micheal Billiot and wife, Mary, Russell Billiot and wife, Wendy, Charlie Billiot and companion, Melissa, and Jimmy Davis Billiot; 23 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 30 great-great- grandchildren; 1 step-grandson; 1 step-great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, David C. Billiot; parents, Ernestine Thibodeaux Foret and John Baptiste Foret; son, George Billiot; sisters, Roselee Billiot, Ellen Foret, Anita Verdin, and Louise Trosclair; brothers, Jean Foret, Louis Foret, Moise Foret, and Alvin Foret; grandson, William Russell Billiot; and great-granddaughter, Dana Duthu. The family would like to give thanks to Journey Hospice and a special thanks to her nurse, Vanesse, her aide, Iris, her social worker, Bess, and her neighbor, Rita Billiot.
