John Henry Broussard, 72, native of Franklin, LA and a resident of Houma, 
passed away on April 3, 2016. 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 6 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday, 
April 7 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Samart Funeral Home of Houma in Houma, LA. 
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. 

Burial will take place in the St. Frances de Sales Cemetery No. 2. 

He is survived by daughters, Paige Hebert and husband, Gary, and Stephanie 
Dupre and husband, Nathan; sister, Slyvia Nell Broussard; six grandchildren, 
Morgan Marcel and husband, Billy, Samantha Moreau, Tyler Hebert, Morgan Dupre, 
Brenna Dupre and Ethan John Hebert; and his four legged companions, Tigger and 
Pretty Girl. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Samuel Broussard; parents, Henry 
Broussard and Bernice LaCoste Broussard; and brother, Gary Curtis Broussard. 

After his retirement he enjoyed spending his time at his favorite spot in 
Mississippi. 

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
