On Sunday, April 10 Shannon Michael Davis, 42, a native of Galliano and a 
resident of Gray, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior. 

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with Services at 7 p.m. 
Wednesday, April 13 at Samart Funeral Home. 

He is survived by his wife, Sydney Abshire Davis; mother, Desther Chilek and 
husband, Ed; son, Aaron Michael Davis; brothers, Steven J. Davis and wife, 
Felene, Jason R. Davis and wife, Kimberly and Kenneth Helmer Jr. and wife, 
Cindy; sister, Marsha LeBlanc and husband, Troy; godchildren, Seth Helmer, 
Philip Davis, Evan Davis, Ty LeBlanc, Jacelyn Davis, and Allison LeBlanc; and 
numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Tobias Davis Sr.; grandmother, 
Thelma Dardar; and paternal grandparents. 

In lieu of flowers donations to help with funeral expenses. Samart Funeral Home 
is in charge of arrangements.
