She was a daughter, the wife of Thomas Patrick Deshaies, a mother to seven, grandmother of sixteen, and great-grandmother of seven. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Patrick Deshaies; son, Roland Eskind, Jr.; daughters, Penny Lane Eskind Bourg and husband, John Bourg, Elizabeth "Beth" Castilaw, Brandie Lea Eskind Tabor and husband, Nathan "Coonie" Tabor, Jr., Kiley Theresa Fanguy Griffin and husband, Benjamin Griffin, Kami Ann Bergeron, and Katie Jones Naquin and husband, Matt Naquin; step-daughters, Priscilla Wahl and Husband, Wayne Wahl, and Melinda Deshaies; brothers, Gilford "Moe" Bergeron and deceased wife, Sheran, and Jesse "Rock" Bergeron Sr. and wife, Karen; sisters, Suzanne "Sukie" Bergeron Ledet and husband, Mitch Ledet, and Syndney "Nene" Ann Bergeron Gros and husband, Herb Gros Sr.; grandchildren, Brittni Eskind, James Blanchard Hutter, Jonathan Blanchard Hutter, Jennifer Blanchard Hutter, Garrett Fant, Malloreigh Rhodes, Eli Castilaw, Neeko Tabor, Kaxton Tabor, Kaley Fanguy, Jacob Griffin, Audrianna "Meme" Griffin, Breanna Savoie, Ariya Kinsley Chronister, Rhylee Lynn Naquin, and Laryn Jade Naquin; great-grandchildren, Zailey Lynn Glass, Cael Michael Blanchard Hutter, Christopher Michael Blanchard Hutter, Jordan Michael Blanchard Hutter, Damarion Xavier Stranford, Brynsley Fant, and expecting Lexi Marie Blanchard Hutter; four step-granddaughters, Samantha Delgreco, Dionna Deshaies, Keely Brown and Kaylyn Brow; two step-grandsons, Ethan Deshaies and Mathew Morrin; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney Peter Bergeron of Houma, and Noella Schwab Bergeron of New Orleans; sister-in-law, Sheran Bergeron. Memorial Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, LA. Memorial Services will begin at 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 23 at the funeral home.
