Paul R. Hardy, 81, a native of Abbeville and a resident of Thibodaux, passed 
away on Friday, April 1, 2016. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016 at Thibodaux Funeral Home in 
Thibodaux from 9am to 11 a.m. Religious services will begin at 11 a.m. at the 
funeral home 

followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. 

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Lirette Hardy; daughters, Carol 
Ledet, Debra Hawkesworth, Paula Berger; sister, Eve H. Vaughn; grandchildren, 
Paul Lirette, Mary Flores, Joab St. Amant, Arabella Leray; 5 great-
grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Hardy Sr. and Ovenia Abshire; 
children, Nick Lirette, Linda Hardy; brother, Joseph Hardy Jr. 

He was retired from the oilfield. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Thibodaux Funeral Home of Thibodaux, LA.
