He was born in Ringgold, LA and long time resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 9:00am to service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. A Liturgy of the Word will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 11:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with burial to follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his Wife of forty-seven years, Sharlene Voisin Kelley; Son Ryan Kelley and wife Andi; Daughters Kimberly Kelley and late husband Rodney Martin, Jennifer Kelley White and husband Joshua, and Meagan Kelley Rogers and husband Trent; Sister Janice Kelley Luke and husband Willis; Grandchildren Ethan, Evan, Eli, Aidan, Kelsey and Adalynn; and Great Grandchildren Lexi, and his best friend Ted Bergeron. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents Jack Kelley and Louise Goodlett Kelley; Grandson Gavin Paul Martin, Brother Fred Kelley; and Sister Virginia Jane Kelley. Kenneth held a Masters +30 in education with a Minor in Psychology. Though he was retired from the Terrebonne Parish School Board; he continued to work part- time as a substitute teacher. He also worked as a mental health counselor for over fifteen years at Terrebonne Mental Health Clinic. He was an avid sports fan. He also enjoyed working in his yard and listening to the radio; but most especially loved spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
