Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2016/f1604.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== On April 8, 2016, our beloved mother, Ezelle Luke Kinnard, who celebrated her 96th birthday in September, was entrusted to the loving care of our Heavenly Father. She was a native and resident of Houma. Visitation will be held on Monday April 11, 2016 from 1 p.m. Until 3 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass will be held at 3 p.m. at the church with burial in the Holy Rosary Cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Samuel Dale Kinnard and wife Jane, Donald Paul "Bo" Kinnard and wife Barbara, William Henry "Billy" Kinnard and wife Cynthia; daughters, Rae Jean Gros and husband Davis, Lori Ann Detiveaux and husband Mark; grandchildren, Jill Kinnard-Nunez, Rhett Kinnard, Mark Kinnard¸ Erin Kinnard, Luke Kinnard, Christopher Kinnard, Geoffrey Kinnard, Abby Kinnard, Leah Detiveaux Hutchinson, Ryan Detiveaux and Lani Detiveaux; great- grandchildren, Brennan St. John, Colin St. John, Evan Mouton, Christian Mouton, Brittany Kinnard, Katherine Kinnard, Samuel L. Kinnard, Matthew Kinnard, Clay James, and Andrew Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Samuel F. Kinnard, Jr.; parents, Ella Fanguy Luke and Henry Clay Luke, Jr.; brothers Henry and Willis Luke; and one sister, Edith Luke Duplantis. She was a life-long parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who dedicated her life to her loving family. She was kind, compassionate, always a joy to be around and has touched many lives. She was loved by all and will be sadly missed.
