April Christine Martin, 34, a resident of Houma, passed away peacefully at 7:15 
a.m. on Monday, April 11, 2016. 

Visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, 
April 23, at Beautiful Zion Baptist Church, 

with burial to follow in Southdown Cemetery. 

She is survived by her fiancé, Brian Ross; sons, Da'Vontaveon and Zavean 
Martin; daughters, Salae' and Angelay Martin: stepsons, Noah Cooks, Tre'von and 
De'Vaughn Gauno; mother, Idella (James) Gray; in-laws, Ethel Ross and companion 
Lionel Hawkins, and Ronnie (Loretta) Williams; brothers, Allen Ray (Carlene) 
Martin Sr. and Malcolm Smith; and sisters, Matilda (Edward), Gusta (Tony), and 
Jennifer (Herbert) Martin. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Martin Jr.; brother, Charles 
Martin, III; paternal grandparents, Will and Uradel McClain; and maternal 
grandparents, George and Lucinda Moore. 

Arrangements entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Houma.
