William Thomas "Billy" Mills, 77, formerly of Houma, La. passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016 in Texarkana, Ark. after a long physical battle. 

No services are scheduled at this time, but a celebration of his life is in the planning. 

He is survived by his brothers, Robert Mills and companion Sherman Broglin of Texarkana, Ark., J.D. Mills and wife Joyce of Houma and Richard Mills and wife Helen of Houma; brother-in-law Gene Doiron of Houma and a number of nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Bessie Mills, sister Wanda Lee Mills Doiron and niece Robyn Doiron. 

A native of Atlanta, Tex., Billy was born June 8, 1938. A traveler by heart, he lived and worked in Alaska, Calif. and Louisiana. 
His hobbies included golf, NASCAR, fishing, and metal detecting. 
He retired from BJ Services and Superior Energy Services. 

Arrangements are being handled by East Funeral Home-Moores Lane in Texarkana, Tex.
