Eugene Joseph Naquin, a native of Houma and resident of Lafayette, died 
Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 5:45 p.m. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 11, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 
Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 8 a.m. until funeral 
time at Maria Immacolata Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. 

Burial will be held in Greenwood Cemetery in Jennings on Wednesday, April 13, 
2016 at 10 a.m. 

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Wheat Naquin; son, Marshall Reid 
Naquin; and sisters, Marlene Darcey and Judith Charrier. 

He is preceded by his parents, Euzey Joseph and Agrite Marie Eschete Naquin. He 
graduated from Terrebonne High School in 1960 and Nicholls State University in
