Ms. Lois BerryHill Newbold 71, native and resident of Larose died on April 20, 
2016. 

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 23 at 9 a.m. at New Mount Zion 
Baptist church in Cutoff. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. at the church, 

with burial to follow in New Mount Zion Baptist church cemetery in Cutoff. 

She is survived by her Son, Prince [Andrea] Newbold Jr of New York; daughter, 
Princess Newbold of Baton Rouge; sisters, Yvonne B. Gayle and Mary B. Andrews 
of Cutoff; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Hazel Berryhill Sr.; 
brothers, Cornelius, Horace, and Mack Berryhill Jr.; maternal grandparents, 
Cornelius and Thelma L. Granger; and paternal grandparents, Maria J. and Jesse 
Berryhill. 
Ms. Lois graduated from Tennessee State University and was a member of Sigma 
Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. 

Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge.
