Christopher Ordoyne, Sr., 63, was born on November 16, 1952 and passed away 
peacefully on April 24, 2016. 
He was a native and resident of Chackbay, LA. 

A visitation will take place on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Our Lady of Prompt 
Succor at 8:45 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM 

with burial to follow in the Our Lady of Prompt Succor cemetery. 

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary R. Ordoyne; three sons, Chris, Jr. 
(April), Travis (Kandace), and Jacob (Hayley), and 5 grandchildren, Mollie, 
Amber, Aydan, Reese, and Cooper. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence (Kaki) Ordoyne and his mother, 
Roseley P. Ordoyne, and sister, Elizabeth Landry. 
Chris was a former Boilermaker (Local #37) and Sheriff Deputy for Lafourche 
Parish. A special thanks to the staff at Assumption Healthcare and Rehab and 
Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. 

Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with handling the funeral 
arrangements.
