Antoine "T-Man" Murray Parfait, 68, a native and resident of Dulac, died 
Monday, April 11, 2016 at 2:05 AM . 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 14 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Chauvin 
Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, April 15 at 9 a.m. until funeral time at Holy 
Family Catholic Church, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11a.m 

Burial will be held in Prevost/Grand Caillou Dulac Band of Biloxi-Chitimacha-
Choctaw Cemetery in Dulac, LA. 

He is survived by his former wife, Ramona N. Parfait; son, Darryl "Speedy" J. 
Parfait and companion, Gypsy Collins; daughters, Charyl P. Soulet and husband, 
Joey, Cannita M. Olivier and husband, Jason, Shelly J. Naquin and husband, 
Jonathon, Tisha L. Parfait and companion, Joshua LeBouef Sr., Valerie K. 
Rodrigue and husband, Chris, and Rayanna V. Smith and husband, Gerald; 
brothers, Wilton "Pierre" Parfait Jr. and wife, Gwen, and Michael Parfait; 
sisters, Mary "Totoy" Solet and husband, Addie Sr., Marlene Verdin and husband, 
Roy, Rose Verdin and husband, Calvin Sr., and Ruth "Youte" Carrere and husband, 
Arnold "Zip"; 25 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilton Nore' Sr. and Josephine Dion 
Parfait; grandson, Jaydon Parfait; brothers, Milton "Puput" and Elton Parfait; 
sister, Mildred "Memit" Parfait. 

He was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. 

He was a former Chief of the Grand Caillou/Dulac Band of Biloxi-Chitimacha-
Choctaw Indian Tribe and a tug boat captain. He enjoyed writing and singing 
music.
