Steve A. Plaisance Sr., age 75, a native of Lockport and resident of Raceland, 
passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2016. 

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m on Wednesday, April 13 at St. 
Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 
11 a.m. Wednesday at the Church, 

with burial to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport. 

Steve is survived by his sons, Steve A. Plaisance Jr. (Kristie), Brock 
Plaisance, Garett Plaisance and Michael Plaisance ; and three grandchildren, 
Garett Plaisance Jr., Kyle Plaisance, and Lauren Plaisance. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Plaisance : and parents, Wilson 
Plaisance and Neatie Sampey Knight. 

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Raceland is entrusted with arrangements.
