Emile J. Polkey, 82, a native and resident of Galliano, passed away April 27, 
2016. 

Visitation will take place at Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano from 9:00 a.m. 
until service time. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home parlor 
beginning at 1:00 p.m., 

with burial following in Cheramie Cemetery. 

Mr. Emile is survived by his children Gary Polkey (Joyce), Troy Polkey (Roxey), 
and Denise P. Plaisance (Randy); and numerous grandchildren, great-
grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. 

Mr. Polkey was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Juanita Collins 
Polkey; parents, Emile L. Polkey and Jeanne L. Polkey; brother, Harold Polkey; 
and sister, Shirley Penouilh. 

He was a produce salesman for 56 years, and a loving father, grandfather, great 
grandfather, and great great grandfather, read the Bible everyday he was able 
to, and was always willing to help anyone in need. 

Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano entrusted with arrangements.
