Bertha Nell Fleming-Porche, 78, a native of Terrebonne Parish, passed away 
peacefully at 8:04 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2016. 

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, 
April 30 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 4931 Bayouside Drive in Chauvin, LA, 

with burial to follow in Cornerstone Cemetery. 

She is survived by her husband Ervin Porche Sr.; son, Ervin Porche, Jr. (Mimi); 
daughter, Seanre P. Cox (Ron); six grandchildren; brothers, Marks, Edison, 
Webster, and Herman Fleming (Agnes); and sisters, Maudries S. Bolden (Rudolph), 
Anna Westley (Milton), Louise Martin, and Frances Payne (Robert). 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Clarence Sr. and Lucille 
Williams-Fleming; brothers, James Sr., Charles, Clarence Jr., and Sherman 
Fleming; and sister, Ora Essie Turner. 

She attended Southdown High and Dillard University. 

Arrangements entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Houma.
