Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2016/f1604.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Kenneth Louis Porche, 65, a native and resident of Houma, LA went to his Heavenly home on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 9:49 AM. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26 at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma, LA. A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27 at Annunziata Catholic Church. Burial will be held at a later date in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Champagne Porche; sons, Lloyd Porche and wife, Rebecca, and John Porche; daughter, Chalayne Porche Dies and husband, Kevin; step-children, John Price II and wife, Christina and Christy Price Verrett and husband, Doug; grandchildren, Kaylee, Ashlee and Brandon Porche, Brooke Tieri, and Gracie Dies; step-grandchildren, Blake and Hunter Domingue, Fielder Price, Kerrigan and Alannah Ducusin; brother, Ricky J. Porche and partner, David Jumonville; sisters, Peggy Bergeron and husband, Rene, Gale Pellegrin, and Denise Stewart and husband, Andrew. Kenneth is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marcia Rhodes Porche; parents, Elsey and Rita Mae Porche; brother, Dale Porche; maternal grandparents, Sullivan and Louise Marcel; and paternal grandparents, Albert and Nettie Porche. He was a member/parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church. Kenneth was an avid Saints fan, loved fishing, loved the outdoors working in the yard, wonderful personality, kind hearted and sensitive man, very compassionate and loved people in general. He never stopped loving his family, he will be greatly missed. Since about the age of fourteen, he worked with his father in their family business, Porche Tire & Muffler. He was a 1969 graduate of Terrebonne High School. He was currently retired. He was a victim of Leukemia. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Porche family. ======================
