Richoux, 65, a native of Lockport and resident of Larose passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 3rd from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. with burial to follow in Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Tommy Richoux; sons, Shane (Tanza) Richoux, Shannon (Gwen) Richoux; sisters, Joyce Bruce, Jane Chaisson, Carol Rome, Virgie Bruce, Cathy (Edwin) Sevin, Annie Boudreaux, Linda (Robert) Taylor, Peggy (Mark) Bergeron, Brenda Chaisson; brothers, Clarence (Ginger) Sampey, Jr., Kirby (Sandra) Sampey, Ronnie (Penny) Sampey; in-laws, Wade (Kathy) Richoux, Alvin (Bonnie) Richoux, Beverly (Dale) Melancon, Melissa (Roger) Randall, Rochelle (Wade) Curole; grandchildren, Amanda Johnson, Emily Johnson, Taylor Richoux, Sarah Richoux, Natalie Rae Richoux and her dog Lucy. She enjoyed her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence, Sr. and Belta Sampey; in- laws, Herbert and Rowena Richoux; step father-in-law, Edward Dominique, brothers-in-law, Jacob Bruce, Norris Truxillo, Sr., Corbett Adams, Leroy Bruce, Herbert Rome. The family would like to thank Thibodaux Cancer Center, Family Clinic, Thibodaux Regional Medical Center and the staff at Thibodaux ICU.
