Virginia Darcey Trahan, a native and resident of Houma, died Wednesday, April 
6, 2016 at 10:40 p.m at the age of 87. 

Visitation will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Monday, April 11 at 
9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. 

Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church 
Cemetery. 

She is survived by her sons, Dale Trahan, Keith Trahan and wife Myra, Dwayne 
Trahan; grandchildren, Rachel Gautier, Aimee Guidry, Corey Trahan, Craig Trahan 
Sr., Kristin Russell, Brandy Lyons, Chris Trahan; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 
great-great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Catherine Trahan. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; Wilson and Josephine Babin Darcey; 
husband, Wilbert Trahan; son, Glen Trahan, great-grandchild, Emily Gautier, 
brother, Norris Darcey. 

She was a member and parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic 
Church. 
Virginia was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother and friend. She had a 
big heart and blessed many people. Anyone could find her cooking, crocheting, 
and she loved to fish on her pastime. 
She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
