He was a native of Paincourtville, LA and resident of Schriever, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 at St. Bridget Catholic Church beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his, wife, Lydia Alleman of 28 years; sons, Benjamin Alleman and Scott Sheets; daughter, Tara Alleman; grandchildren, Logan and Brady Rhinehart; brother, Desire "Peter" Alleman, sister, Lucy Clelland. He was preceded in death by his, parents, Desire and Elizabeth Theriot Alleman; sister, Mary "Connie" Barrient. He was a parishioner of St. Bridget Catholic Church. Ray Alleman was a model husband, father, and grandfather. He was proud of his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed his career as an operations coordinator at Entergy for 28 years and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was very skilled in electrical and plumbing, helped many friends and family members, and would always make himself available to those in need. Ray developed many friendships over the years and loved being around people. He will be greatly missed by the many people he helped, worked with, and loved.
