Jesslyn Marie Belanger, 48, a native of Houma and resident of Lafayette, died 
peacefully Friday, May 13, 2016, after a lengthy battle with cancer. 

Visitation, Christian Mass, and Christian Burial will be held at St. Eloi 
Catholic Church in Theriot, LA on Friday, May 20, 2016. 
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until mass time at 11:00 am. 

Jesslyn is survived by her lifelong friend, Gay Lynn Babin; brother, Darryl J. 
Belanger Jr. and wife, Patricia; sisters, Karey B. Whipple and Stacie B. 
Clement and husband, Sean. Jesslyn is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Darryl J. Belanger, Sr. and Bobbie 
Lee Francis Eschete Belanger and infant brother. 

She worked as a Geophysicist in the private sector, then for the Government. 
Her goal was to get better and go back to work. 

She will be missed. 

Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, LA is in charge of 
funeral arrangements.
