A visitation will be held in her honor on Monday, May 9, 2016 at St. Genevieve Church in Thibodaux, Louisiana from 8:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux, Louisiana. She is survived by her husband of 45 years Terry Benoit; son, Travis Benoit and wife Mandy; daughter, Kimberly Benoit and fiancé David Arceneaux, and step daughter Donna Portier and fiancé Carroll "CJ" Jaqneaux Jr.; five brothers, Andrew J. Thibodaux and wife Trudy, Gary Thibodaux, David Thibodaux and wife Liz, Bobby J. Thibodaux and companion Charlene, and Norbert J. Thibodaux and wife Kristie; six sisters, Carol T. Benoit and husband Lawrence, Debra Thibodaux, Tammie T. Ordoyne and husband Ricky, Audrey T. Cavalier and companion Harold, Eileen T. Lirette and husband Randy, and Laurie T. Salvador and husband Jose; seven granddaughters, Lexy McCarthy, Taylor Ordoyne and fiancé Nickk Trahan, Bethany McCarthy and fiancé Austin Aucoin, Kaitlyn Benoit, Abigail Benoit, Madeline Benoit, and Kayla Hebert and fiancé Jessica Petrolia; three grandsons, Logan Ordoyne, and Hayden Patterson; and great-grandsons, Carter McCarthy and Hayden Chiasson. She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Thibodaux; and mother, Marie G. Thibodaux. She will always be remembered for her beautiful heart and soul and free spirit. She absolutely loved and adored her big family God blessed her with. She enjoyed her days serving her customers at Frostop and listening to Reba.
