Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2016/f1605.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== David Philip Burgo, 50, a native and resident of Thibodaux, was born Feb. 2, 1966, and passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Thibodaux, LA, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm at the church followed by burial in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church cemetery. He is survived by his daughters, Danielle B. Hebert and husband Dennis, and Dru V. Burgo, and their mother Debbie Voiron Gros; son, Wyatt P. Burgo, his half- sister Kasey Landry Adams and her son, Karsen Adams, and their mother Pamela Naquin Landry; brothers, Edward C. Burgo, Jr., John M. Burgo, Richard P. Burgo and wife Annette; sister, Karen B. Adams and husband Allen; grandson, Landen Hebert; nieces and nephews, Brandon Benoit, Tiffany Adams, Cody Adams, Ashley Adams, Christian Burgo, Matthew Burgo, Katie Burgo; and aunts, Sharyn Donnell and husband Bruce, Myra LeBlanc, and Lois Burgo. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward C. Burgo, Sr. and Janice LeBlanc Burgo and grandparents, Donald L. LeBlanc and Yvonne Adams LeBlanc. David enjoyed spending time with his family. He was especially proud to be a Dad and PaPa. He loved people; he could strike up a conversation with someone he’d never met just like they were family. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Chester Boudreaux and his staff as well as the staff at Chateau Terrebonne and Thibodaux Health Care. Thanks also goes to the E.R. staff at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, especially Lauren, Renee and Danielle, as well as the staff of the step down unit. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to the American Diabetes Association, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the American Cancer Society.
