Darrel Chiasson, 95, a native and resident of Chackbay, LA was called to 
eternal rest on Monday, May 9, 2016.

A visitation will be held in his honor on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Our Lady of 
Prompt Succor Church in Chackbay, LA from 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian 
Burial at 11:00 a.m. 

Burial will follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery.

He is survived by his three sons, Wilbar Chiasson and wife, Connie, Stephen 
Chiasson and wife, Dianne, and Ricky Chiasson and wife, Cecile; daughter, Mary 
Clement and husband, Norman; two brothers, Ernest Chiasson and Human Chiasson; 
and nine grandchildren, Terrance, Cindy, Corey, Casey, Callie, Bobby, Janet, 
Kendel, and Heather.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Airlana Chiasson; three brothers, 
Collence Chiasson, Hilton Chiasson Sr., Oliver Chiasson, and Firmin Chiasson; 
sister, Tessie C. Chenier; father, Herbert Chiasson; and mother, Louisiane T. 
Chiasson.

Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
