Geraldine Deboue Cooks departed this life on May 25, 2016 at Thibodaux Regional 
Medical Center. 
She was 62, a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA. 

Visitation Friday June 3, 2016 from 4pm to 6pm at Williams and Southall Funeral 
Home, Thibodaux, LA. Visiting on Sat. June 4, 2016 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 
Thibodaux, LA at 9:00am until religious services at 11:00am conducted by Rev. 
Lionel Griffin. 

Burial in Mt. Zion Baptist Church cemetery. 

Survived by her husband, Wilbert Cooks, Sr., Thibodaux, LA; 3 daughters, 
Latasha Woods (Henry), San Antonio, TX, Kristie Lynn Reid (Okendrick), Fort 
Lee, VA, and Khrishonda Cooks (Michael), Zachary, LA; 1 son, Wilbert Cooks, 
Jr., Thibodaux, LA.; 1 brothers, Junius Deboue; 2 sisters, Agnes Dumas, 
Thibodaux, LA and Florence Smith, Belle Rose, LA; 8 grandchildren; a host of 
neices, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Preceded in death by his parents Rosalie and Junius Debose; 1 son, Robin Paul 
Cooks; 2 brothers, Raymond and Gerald Deboue; 2 sisters, Eula Mae Green and 
Barbara Jean Francis. 

Arrangements by Williams & Southall Funeral Home, 1204 Cleveland St. Thibodaux, 
LA.
