She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the Magnolia Chapel at Chauvin Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Liturgy of the Word at 11:00 a.m. Burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #1 She is survived by her, sons, Albert Davis (Mary), Todd Davis (Melissa); daughters, Darlene Davis, Julie Jeansonne (Albert), Donna Burton (Kim), Angela Davis-Kraemer; grandchildren, Benjamin Davis, Mimi Pisani, Alisha Bodin, Aaron Jeansonne, Michael Burton, Kyle Burton, Skylar Davis, Baely Davis, Matthew Kraemer, and seven great-grandchildren; brother, Roland Belisle; sister, Ethel Cunningham. She was preceded in death by her, husband, Albert Davis, Sr.; son, Lynn Paul Davis; parents, Julian and Thelma Boudreaux Bellisle; brother, Roy Bellisle; sister, Gloria Martinez Miss Belle, a loving mother and grandmother, was the strength that kept her family together. After the death of her husband, she cared for her seven beautiful children. Miss Belle was a strong-willed woman who fought the good fight till the end. She survived stage four cancer with only one percent chance of survival and then returned to work as a Guidance Secretary in the public school system, retiring with over twenty years of service at the age of eighty four. She enjoyed cooking on the weekends and spending time with her family. Anyone who knew Miss Belle will remember her beautiful smile and great sense of humor.
