He was a native of Beaumont, TX and resident of Houma , LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral observed from 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his, wife, Karen Moosa Davis; sons, Larry Davis and wife Dana of Houma LA, Mark Davis and wife June of Bourg LA; sister, Thelma Davis of Katy TX; grandchildren, Melissa Davis McElroy and husband Kyle, Katie Davis and companion Zack Rash, Lerin Davis and Joey Davis; great-grandchildren, Alyson and Emerson McElroy, Beaux Davis. He is also survived by one niece and a host of nephews. He was preceded in death by his, parents, Roy and Elma Duhon Davis Hebert . Lester was married to his beautiful wife of 54 years, Karen. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves and served active duty in the U.S. Army. Lester was a proud owner of Moosa Office Supply for over 20 years. He loved his family dearly and was a great provider including to his niece and nephews. Lester was one of the original founders of the Krewe of Hercules and was a member of the Terreanians Carnival Club. In his past time he enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting and tinkering in the garage. Lester was very generous to all, he will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Davis Family. U.S. Marines ======================
