Helen Bernard Delaune, 98, was born on March 26, 1918 and passed away 
peacefully on May 30, 2016. 
She was a native of Donaldsonville, LA and resident of Thibodaux, LA.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Thibodaux Funeral Home 
from 10:00 AM until service time. Religious Services will be held at the 
funeral home at noon, officiated by Brother Ronnie Melancon, with burial to 
follow in Ascension Catholic Cemetery in Donaldsonville, LA.

She is survived by her two sons; James J. Delaune and Paul J. Delaune and wife, 
Jeanette Kalwei, and dearest best friend, Elizabeth Chiasson.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bryan Jean Delaune; son, Joseph 
Delaune; parents, Emile and Marie Cassard Bernard; and numerous brothers and 
sisters.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Family 
Doctor Clinic of Thibodaux, especially Dr. Magee, Dr. Templet, and Dr. Josh.

She enjoyed spending her time bringing friends and relatives to the Lord. She 
was a faithful member to the First United Pentecostal Church in Thibodaux. She 
was also a wonderful seamstress whose work will be missed and she enjoyed 
shopping for clothes and shoes. 
Most of all, she especially loved her two sons. She was a devoted wife and 
mother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with handling the funeral 
arrangements.
