"Foots" Eschete Jr.,85, a native and a resident of Houma, passed away on May 13, 2016. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 9am to 11am at First United Methodist Church of Houma. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church of Houma. He is survived by his Sons- Stacy M. Eschete and wife Robin, and Kevin Eschete and wife Allison Sister- Christine Eunice Grandchildren: Ricky Paul Eschete, Courtney Eschete Miley, Jamie Eschete Wommack, Stephanie Ann Eschete, Leigh Eschete Pierre, Scott Eschete, Tony Eschete, Charles Eschete, Jacob Hadley, Christopher Eschete 16 Great Grandchildren Preceded in death by his Wife- Patsy "Pat" Eschete Parents- Nolan P. Sr. and Lela Matherne Eschete Sons- Charles Eschete and Stephen Eschete Brothers- Donald Eschete Brother-in-laws- Benny Eunice and Charles Hurst Sister- Betty Ann Poiencot Sister-in-law- Genevieve Eschete Nolan was an avid salt water fisherman and story teller. He was a Marine Corp Veteran who served in the Korean War and was honored with 2 purple hearts for acts of bravery. He enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
