Eugene J. Gros Jr, 80, a native of Belle Rose and a resident of Houma, LA 
passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016. 

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Olivier Gros of Houma; two daughters, Phyllis 
Gros Blanchard of Houma, LA and Sharon Gros Blanchard of Lafayette , LA; one 
son, Randy Gros of Houma, LA; six grandchildren, Cody, Tyler, and Brandon 
Blanchard of Houma, LA and Keeley Blanchard Melancon of Youngsville, LA. 
Cheyene, and Kassidi Blanchard of Lafayette , LA; one great grandchild, Stella 
Melancon of Youngsville, LA; one sister, Nora Dugas; one brother, Maurice Babin 
and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Preceded in death by his parents, Edma LeBlanc and Eugene S. Gros. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 9:00a.m. until Mass of 
Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Brusly St. Martin Chapel in Belle Rose, LA 
conducted by Rev. Andrew Merrick. 

Burial to follow in church cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be: Randy Gros, Brent, Cody, Tyler, Brandon Blancard, Essie 
Cavalier, and Justin Melancon. Ourso Funeral Home of Donaldsonville is in 
charge of arrangements.
