Allen J. Himel, 50, a native of Thibodaux and a resident of Amelia, passed away 
on May 1, 2016. 

He was a hard working crane operator that loved to hunt and drink his 
Budweiser. He loved spending time and doing things with family and friends.

Memorial Visitation will be held Friday, May 6, 2016, at Samart Funeral Home of 
Houma from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, 
May 6, 2016 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, at 7:00 pm.

He is survived by his two daughters - Tiffany Himel, Amber Ruffin and husband 
Joshua; parents - Andrew Jr. and Lucy Himel, brother - Byron Himel; three 
sisters, Tonya Babin, Patrice Betemps, Denice Aucoin and her fiancé T.J. 
Richard; grandchildren - Alaysia Francis, Jaidyn Francis, Jordyn Ruffin and 
Kassidy Ruffin. Numerous Nieces, Nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by:
Grandparents -Percy and Marie Bourgeois, Andrew Himel Sr. and Margie Himel
Niece - Brooklynn Himel, Brother-in-law - Ricky Babin, Childhood friend - Paul 
Clought

Samart is in charge of arrangements.
