Laurella Duplantis LeCompte , 93, a native of Bayou Dularge and a resident of 
Chauvin, passed away on May 2, 2016.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 9am to 11am at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church in Chauvin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 11am at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church in Chauvin.

Burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chauvin.

She is survived by her
Children- Jesse LeCompte and wife Etha Ann, Brenda LeBlanc and husband Terry, 
Aswell LeCompte and wife Donna, and Nell Crochet
13 Grandchildren
30 Great Grandchildren
19 Great Great Grandchildren the 5th generation
Brother- Alfred Duplantis
Sister- Edna Foret

She was preceded in death by her
Husband- Percy LeCompte
Parents- Wilson Sr. and Marguerite Theriot Duplantis

She was the past President of the Lady Auxillary, active member and treasurer 
of the Senior Citizen Center in Chauvin, and she was a jolly, free spirited, 
and avid traveler who lived life to the fullest until the very end.

Samart is in charge of arrangements.
