Michael Joseph Pitre Sr., 61, native and resident of Houma, passed away on May 
9, 2016.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Samart Funeral Home of 
Houma from 5pm until 9pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 14, 
2016 at 6pm at Samart Funeral Home of Houma,

He is survived by his wife, Denise Ledet Pitre; sons, Michael Pitre, Jr. and 
wife Gerri, Scotty Pitre and wife Brittany, Shawn Pitre and wife Traci; 
daughters, Crystal Pellegrin and husband Bobby, Laura Lee Pitre, Tommie Lee 
Pitre; step-son, Michael Jenkins; sisters, Mathilda Bertinot and Brenda Pitre; 
and 14 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Wanda Conway Pitre; daughter, Misty 
Pitre; grandson, MJ Real; parents, Justillian Pitre and Lena Bergeron Pitre; 
grandparents, Edgard Bergeron, Mathilda Dugas, Willie Pitre and Julia Pitre; 
brothers, Henry "Billy" Pitre, Jr., Harry "Two-Two" Pitre, Eugene Pitre, Terry 
Pitre, and Roland Pitre; sisters, Betty Pitre Porter, Linda Hyde and Gayle 
Dardar.

Michael was blessed to have many loved ones here on earth and in heaven.
