Hazel Guy Scott , 90, native and resident of Chauvin, passed away on May 27, 
2016.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 2, 2016, at St. Joseph Church - Chauvin 
from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on 
Thursday, June 2, 2016 at St. Joseph Church - Chauvin, at 11:00 am. 

Burial will take place in the St. Joseph Cemetery - Chauvin.

She is survived by her sons; Albert Scott III and wife Barbara, Paul Joseph 
Scott, Joseph Scott and wife Jerri Ann; Daughters, Betty Gautreaux and husband 
Leroy and Lucy Smith; sister, Vivian Eschette; 23 grandchildren, Rudy Scott and 
wife Nancy, Shana Belanger and husband Steven, Tara Champagne and husband 
Jason, Nicholas Scott, Angelita Gautreaux, Russell Gautreaux, Jr. and wife 
Sandy, Noah Gautreaux and wife Mary, Camille Robichaux and husband Alex, Julie 
Sevin, Charita Sevin, Henry Scott, Jr. and wife Sherrie, Candy Dossett and 
husband Lane, Scott Sevin, Shane Sevin and wife Deanie, Floyd Fanguy, Jr and 
wife April, Jerome Fanguy and wife Jill, Troy Rodgers and wife Paula, Joseph 
Scott and wife Jerri Ann, Travis Scott and wife Tracey, Dwayne M. Lambasted, 
Jr., Joseph Scott, Jr., Julia Scott and Jasmine Scott; 35 great grandchildren; 
9 step great grandchildren; 19 great great grandchildren; 1 step great great 
grand child.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Scott, Jr.; parents, Julien 
Trahan and Desiere Guy; daughter, Gayle Scott; 7 brothers, Whitney, Gilbert, 
Sidney, Henry, Wiley, Edison and Lawrence Guy; 5 sisters, Mary LeBouef, Fabolia 
G. Lirette, Mable Benoit, Evelina G. Authement and Louise Blanchard; 3 
grandchildren, Jody Scott, Edger Fanguy and Regina Duplantis; 2 great 
grandchildren, Joshua Fanguy and Angel Fanguy.

Hazel was a loving mother and grandmother and loved her dog "Tootsie". A 
special Thank You to Sandra Scott for all the special care that you gave to our 
Mama the last few years.

Pallbearers to serve will be Rudy Scott, Camille Robichaux, Henry Sevin, Jr., 
Herome FAnguy, Paul Scott, Joseph Scott.
