Delores (Miss D) Marie Sevin, 76, died Thursday, May 12, 2016  at 03:37 PM. 
She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA.

Visitation will be held on Monday May 16,2016 from 9:30 until service in the 
Dauphine Chapel of Chauvin Funeral Home.  Services will be at 11:00 AM 

with burial to be in Garden of Memories in Gray

She is survived by her, son, John Sevin, Jr. & wife Rhonda of Chauvin; 
daughters, Loretta S. Prestenbach & husband Shannon and Rosalie Sevin both of 
Houma; son-in-law, Gary Thibodeaux; brothers, Jean & wife Kaila Trahan and 
Patrick & wife Gail Trahan; sister, Sheila & husband Roger Foret; 
grandchildren, Michael, Emily, Rachel, Patrice, Travis, Justin, James, Pia, 
Dominique and Shawn; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her, husband, John Sheldon Sevin,Sr..,parents, 
Lavis and Doris Bourg Trahan; daughter, Peggylynn Marie Thibodeaux; and 
sisters, Jessica Trahan Butler and an infant sister.

Mrs. Sevin was a retired Terrebonne Parish School Bus Driver who was dedicated 
to her job.  She loved reading, doing crossword puzzles, and playing bingo.  
She believed in hard work and was one of the hardest working individuals one 
could have met.  She will be missed by all who loved her.

She was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
