Leonard Patrick Shelby, 63. A native and resident of Raceland, LA died on 
Thursday, May 19, 2016.

A Celebration of life service for Mr. Leonard Shelby will be held at Community 
Funeral Home 3742 Hwy 1 Raceland, LA on Tuesday, May 24, 2016. He will have 
visitation from 9:00a.m until funeral time at 11:00a.m. 

Interment at Mary Cemetery in Raceland, LA.

He is survived by two sons, Leonard Evans and Jamal Lacey. One brother, Valarie 
Shelby of Raceland, LA and sisters, Carolyn Holmes (Johnny), Janice Miller, 
Denise Garner all of Raceland, LA, Sandra Hicks (David) of Broussard, LA and 
Vera Adams ( Willie) of Gray, LA. One sister-in-law, Jackalin Shelby, 4 
grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Enesta and Wilmer Shelby, Sr. Two 
brothers, Joel and Wilmer Shelby, Jr. Four sisters, Paulette, Claudette, Joyce 
and Diana Shelby.

Community Funeral Home 3742 Hwy 1 Raceland, LA is in charge of the funeral 
arrangements.
