Raymond Anthony "Crow" Stein, 74, was born on September 8, 1941 and passed away 
peacefully surrounded by family on May 22, 2016. He was a native and resident 
of Vacherie, LA.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Our Lady of Peace 
Catholic Church in Vacherie from 9:00 AM until funeral time. A Mass of 
Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 AM 

with burial to follow in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church cemetery in 
Vacherie.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Coralie "Cora" Delatte Stein; 
daughters, Stacy Stein and husband Ronald Menjivar of Houma and Erica Riddle 
and husband Martin of New Orleans; grandchildren, Ronald Menjivar, Jr. and 
Kirby Brennan Riddle; brothers, Joseph Stein and wife Myrtle of Kenner, Murphy 
Stein and wife Susan of Vacherie, and sister, Madeline Stein of Vacherie.

He is preceded in death by his parents Euclide J. and Celestina G. Stein; 
stepmother, Theresa O. Stein, sisters, Sr. Monica Stein (Emelie) and Cynthia 
Stein.

In 1997, after over 30 years of service, he retired from Union Carbide. In his 
spare time, he enjoyed reading, solving crossword puzzles, and spending time 
with family. He was a loving husband, father, and caring friend who will be 
greatly missed by all who knew him.

Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with handling the funeral 
arrangements.
