He was a native of Theriot, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery #2 He is survived by his, sons, William Francis Theriot, Jr. and wife Norma, Karol Theriot and wife Sybil, Larry Theriot and wife Jeanne Lottinger; daughters, Sheila Theriot and friend Debbra Mathews, Rachel Theriot Willams and husband Alex; grandchildren, Mitchel, Dennis, Phillip, Danny, Donna, Jason, Jennifer, Jared, Brandy, Robert, Courtney; great-grandkids, Derek, Lee, Danielle, Gavin, Gannon, MiCaela, Saul, Burak, Demir, Haley, Nicole, Hannah, Abby, Elizabeth, Morgan, Josh, Karoline, Luke; great-great-granddaughter, Ella Martin; sisters, Pearl, Velma and Della. Also survived by his longtime friends, Hedy Webre, Cindy Duplechin. He was preceded in death by his, Wife of 53 years, Mae Freeman Theriot; parents, Frank and Alida Thibodaux Theriot; brothers, Johnny, Gilbert, Walton, Louis, Harold, Norris, Camille He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. While Willie was a jack of all trades, he enjoyed tending his garden and growing vegetables and was still tending the crops up to his 90th year of age. He enjoyed spending time with his family and enjoying the occasional joke. He was very crafty and loved woodworking along with cooking and became a connoisseur of his homemade wine. Retiring from Texaco with over 20 years of service, he then joined his sons in their electrical service business.
